PRIVACY & TREATMENT OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

If you have any questions about our use of your personal data, please contact us first.

If the processing of the data is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. We immediately finish this data processing. For technical reasons, the complete integration of this removal in all databases and systems can still take up to 48 hours. For communications by mail, consent and withdrawal are only processed in the next planning cycle.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have in particular the following rights as a data subject:

Right of access (Article 15 of the RGPD)
You may at any time request information about the data we have about you. This information includes the categories of data processed by us, the purposes for which we process it, the source of the data if we did not collect it directly from you and, where applicable, the recipients to whom we transferred your data. You can obtain from us a free copy of your data as part of the contract. If you wish additional copies, we reserve the right to charge you additional copies.

Right of rectification (Article 16 of the RGPD)
You can ask us to correct your data. We will take appropriate measures to maintain, based on the latest information available to us, the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and relevance of the data we have.

Right to erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR)
You can ask us to erase your data if there are legal requirements to do so. According to Article 17 of the GDPR, this could be the case if:

  • personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
  • you withdraw your consent on which the treatment is based and there is no other legal basis for the treatment;
  • you object to the processing of your data and there is no compelling legitimate reason for the processing, or you object to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes;

If said treatment is not necessary:

  • to comply with a legal obligation that requires us to process your data;

Right to limitation of treatment (Article 18 of the RGPD)
You may request the limitation of the processing of your data by us if:

  • you dispute the accuracy of the personal data during a period allowing us to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
  • we no longer need your data, but it is still necessary for you to find, exercise or defend legal rights;
  • the processing is illegal and you oppose the erasure of personal data and require instead the limitation of their use;
  • you objected to the treatment during the audit as to whether our legitimate interests prevail over your own.

Right to portability of data (Article 20 of the GDPR)
Your data will be transmitted, if technically feasible, to another responsible party at your request. This right will be available to you to the extent that the data processing is based on your consent or is necessary in the performance of a contract, and only for the personal data that you have provided to us. Instead of receiving a copy of your data, you can also ask us to transfer the data directly to another person responsible for processing.

Right of objection (Article 21 of the RGPD)
You may object at any time, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to a processing of your personal data if the data processing concerns your consent or our legitimate interests or those of a third party. If this is the case, we will not process your data unless we can demonstrate that there are legitimate and compelling reasons for the treatment that prevails over your interests, or that we are not asking for your data for the recognition, exercise or defending legal rights.

Your exercise of these rights is subject to certain exceptions to ensure the public interest (eg the prevention or detection of a crime) and our interests (eg the maintenance of legal privilege). If you exercise any of these rights, we will verify your rights and react in the majority of cases within one month.
If you are dissatisfied with our use of your information or our response to an exercise of these rights, you have the right to complain to your data protection authority. The data protection authority in Belgium is the Data Protection Authority (formerly the Commission for the Protection of Privacy, or the Privacy Commission). The data protection authority in Luxembourg is the National Commission for Data Protection.
